Fridays with Ignite is our brand new series of sessions to share knowledge, tools and methods on how corporations implement innovation together with startups. Every month a new corporate guest will come on stage to inspire us with their stories.

Our first guest is Gisele Fidelis, New Business Executive Manager at the Brazilian pulp & paper multinational Suzano, who will share her learnings of implementing successful innovation strategies in collaboration with startups.

Gisele Fidelis
New Business Executive Manager, Suzano (Brazil)

Gisele is a chemist and Master in Polymer Science and Technology, with more than 10 years of experience in R&D and New Business in relevant Brazilian companies in the fields of renewable chemistry and biorefinery.

During the last four years, Gisele has developed technology roadmaps guided by market analysis for innovative products, technology scouting methodology and tools, matchmaking processes and a global network throughout the most relevant innovation ecosystems.

She is currently leading the Lignin Business at Suzano S.A., one of the world leading corporations within pulp and paper with presence in over 80 countries.
